Ca'l Xabú is a three-star hotel and restaurant in the middle of a difficult to describe place. As its owners, Jaime and Xermán, say, tradition rules at Cal Xabú, and they are faithful caretakers of those old customs. It is a place that creates memories for a lifetime, and a human team that considers you family as soon as you cross its doors.
Its owners are from the same village, Cuérigo, in a calm valley and lush mountains, nestled between Aller and Nalón. One is a chef and the other a bagpiper, one a student of Manzano and the other a mycologist and antique dealer. Both created this place with the soul of a museum, where everything catches the eye. Chests, benches, pots, soup tureens, all stop being museum pieces when observing the charcoal kitchen, the oven, and the chimney in full swing. The wooden beams, stone walls, and especially the aromas of chestnut stew, spelt bread, their own sausages - La Correína seal - or goat and free-range chicken. Read more
