Historic house with private vineyard in the heart of La Rioja

The main house, a protected building, belonged to the family of the conquistador D. Pedro Ruiz de Castillo and is an extension of an original construction from the 16th century. It underwent a comprehensive restoration in 2004, scrupulously respecting its original architecture, with 79 cm thick stone ashlar walls, ceilings with exposed beams, and restored historical structural elements. The house is distributed over two floors. On the ground floor, there is a spacious kitchen-dining room with a vaulted ceiling, a living room in two areas with a fireplace, large windows to the garden, a sitting room with a library, and a guest toilet. Upstairs, there are three double en-suite bedrooms, all with exposed beams, highlighting the 50 sqm master suite with a fireplace and balcony. Číst více
